Island Studios is a world-renowned film studio complex that has established itself as a leader in the commercial film industry. With locations in West London, Cape Town, and Johannesburg, Island Studios offers filmmakers and photographers access to some of the most advanced film production facilities in the world.
Island Studios boasts four different studio locations: Dukes Island, Black Island, Cape Island, and Gold Island Studios. Each location has its own unique features, making it the ideal choice for different types of film productions. Dukes Island Studios, for example, has large sound stages, while Black Island Studios offers a vast filming space in Stage 5. Cape Island Studios, on the other hand, offers a versatile shooting space that can be used for anything from music videos to large-scale film productions.

White Stage

The soundproof White Stage at Dukes Island offers a total floor area of 417 sqm with drive-in access and a U-shaped cove. The stage also features numerous stage-level production and agency offices and Hair and makeup rooms.
Blue Stage
4900 sq/ft - 21ft height - Floor Plan
Soundproofed Blue Stage with drive-in access has a floor area of 453 sqm with a U-shaped cove. The space includes production and agency offices and Hair and makeup rooms.
Green Stage
6084 sp/ft - 21ft clear height - Floor Plan
With a total floor area of 565 sqm Green Stage offers an L-shaped cove with drive-in access and Stage-level production offices. Hair and makeup rooms are just above the stage.
Red Stage
1800 sq/ft - 21ft height - Floor Plan
Red Stage at Dukes Island is our smallest stage with a total floor area of 167 sqm. This soundproof stage is ideal for photo and video shoots and offers a U-shaped cove, first-floor production offices, and Hair and makeup.
The Lounge
The Lounge at Dukes Island is an area ideally used as a relaxing chill-out area for talent and production crew and can be hired as additional space when using Red or White Stage. This area can also be hired for smaller shoots or events.
The Club
The Club at Dukes Island is a great break-out room for the production crew or VIP guests when hired at the same time as White or Red Stages. The Club can also be hired for smaller photo or video shoots and is an ideal interview space.
