Account Handler / Equipment Booker - (Manchester)


We are looking for a dynamic Account Handler / Equipment Booker with a focus on customer service and driving sales to join our Manchester rental desk.

A passion for our industry is key, with excellent multitasking and organisational skills.

Knowledge of camera or lighting equipment is preferred and a good understanding of customer workflow is essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • To advise and process client rental and sales orders by phone, e-mail, and in person.
  • Ensure maximum efficiency and utilization of rental equipment.
  • To deal with telephone and e-mail enquiries professionally, process and maintain all jobs accurately using InspHire ensuring correct paperwork flow is followed.
  • To understand all equipment to an extent that you can intelligently discuss features and benefits and suggest appropriate alternatives where required.
  • To cross hire equipment from outside suppliers as and when required, and ensure return deadlines are met.
  • To effectively communicate with clients and colleagues at all times.
  • To actively and willingly seek to gain knowledge concerning the correct operation and capabilities of equipment and InspHire within your area by attending training sessions.
  • To be available for work at the times indicated on the rota for the division.
  • To ensure that you work in conjunction with other members in the department to maximise efficiency, maintain and develop the best interests of the department.

Driver/Warehouse person -  (London)

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused individual to work within our Transport Department.

Key responsibilities:

  • Timely and safe delivery and collection of equipment and goods;
  • Assisting clients with the setting up of equipment as necessary and to ensure the company ethos and customer satisfaction are always maintained;
  • Loading and unloading vehicle as required;
  • Relevant other Warehouse duties as assigned;
  • As and when required, assist with Transport Control;
  • To comply with driver standards at all times.

Skills and experience:

  • Professional driving skills on vehicles up to 7.5 ton (CPC);
  • HGV preferred, however, training courses would be available;
  • Interpersonal skills/good communication;
  • Calm, patient, polite and non-confrontational; 
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and to work to tight deadlines;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work;
  • 3 years delivery driving experience;
  • A good geographic driving knowledge of London.

The role involves working on a variable shift pattern.

Operations Equipment Controller - (London)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Operations Department.

Key responsibilities:

  • To pick all jobs accurately using the bar-coding system and ensure correct paperwork flow is followed and the equipment is in full working order.
  • Protect the company's assets by ensuring all equipment is maintained correctly, works safely and all kits are complete and put back in the appropriate place allocated within the warehouse.
  • Learn all aspects of P.A.T and gain a certificate from the training provided.
  • Ensure that you work in conjunction with the other members in the department to maximize efficiency, maintain and develop the best interest of the department.

Skills and experience:

  • Understanding of electrical/mechanical principles.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy.
  • Demonstrate sound initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Quick to learn and accurate attention to detail.
  • 1-year experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment of formal electrical or mechanical education. 
  • Computer literate, to include; Outlook, Internet, Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of lighting equipment if preferred.
